Photo of the Month: May 2011
The May 2011 Photo of the Month is a stunning portrait of a Vermillion Flycatcher taken by Debbie Dorothy while visiting the Big Morongo Canyon Reserve. About capturing the photo, Debbie says, "I had to chase this little guy all over trying to get just the right shot of him. He was a very busy guy catching insects and taking them back to the nest along with his mate. This was the first time I had ever seen a Vermilion Flycatcher but hopefully not the last."
